Bristol Bay Face Creams

Who doesn't want beautiful skin? We all do! With health and beauty in mind, we worked to develop a face cream that is rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C and Vitamin A. Wild Alaska cranberries, huckleberries, crowberries and blueberries have more anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits than their commercial counterparts in the lower 48 berries. Our Alaska berries are high in Vitamin C, which is known to lighten the skin and help reduce the appearance of age spots. We infuse Wild Rose hips, full of Vitamin C and A into our face creams. Wild Rose Hip oil is known to reduce fine wrinkling and increase smoothness of the skin. Tundra Love Face Creams are hydrating, filed with organic and natural products, and include a hydrosol of Bulgarian rose oil to further benefit the delicate skin of the face and neck. Enough science; what the local elders from Alaska, Netherlands and the arctic region have known for thousands of years is the benefit of the berries, plants, and fungus (aka. chaga) in our region.  

We locate and harvest the therapeutic fungus, chaga, on our local wild birch trees. Our chaga is sustainably harvested to ensure no damage to the tree.

We have 3 different face creams from which to choose:  

Chaga Cloudberry: Great for aging skin! (Also known as Salmonberry in Western Alaska. Different from salmonberries in the Pacific Northwest or Southeast Alaska, Bristol Bay cloudberries grow on the tundra, not on a bush.) Our luscious cream is infused with Cloudberry extract. Cool and moisturizing for you skin. Full of Vitamin C, Cloudberries are high in anti-oxidants and elegiac acid, which has been linked to reducing the occurrence of cancer, slowing the aging process and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.  Ingredients: Organic Shea Butter, Organic Olive Oil infused with Chaga and Wild Rose Hips, Organic Coconut Oil, Cloudberry Extract, Hydrosol of Bulgarian Rose, Organic Aloe Vera gel, Organic Bees Wax, Rose Essential Oil, Vitamin E.

Use: A small amount goes a long way! Use a pea size amount and blend with pure water in the palm of your hand, massage into your face and neck. For extra moisturizing, do not dilute. 

Keep your jar clean, and use a clean utensil, not your finger, to obtain your face cream. If treated respectfully, 2 oz. of TundraLove! face cream can last for 3-6 months. Keep cool, under 74 degrees to maintain consistency. If your cream melts or separates, refrigerate, and it will still be effective, just look different.  Please use within 3-6 months of purchase.

Q: What if my face cream feels greasy? A: Use less and blend with water prior to application. In the morning, I use a small pea size amount and blend with water in the palm of my hand. It absorbs quickly and provides a nice base to foundation. For use as a night cream, do not blend with water.
